Interesting guiding principles on the EKS strategy:
- Not the size of forces and efforts and not the size of the funds decide about success or failure. The strategy is crucial i.e. HOW the available forces and resources are used. (Wolfgang Mewes, founder of EKS-Strategie)
- Offering a 'compelling benefit' means offering something that is desperately needed for the solution of a "hot issue".
- Cutthroat competition, price war, hard selling, imitating the competition. What would be the alternative for the EKS? 'Tracking down "need gaps", offering a better (new) solution to a problem, specialisation and cooperation.
- Being considered by a target group as the perfect partner for a particular problem inspires your personal development and the development of your business.
- The "successful" are not successful because they have more overall knowledge than others, but because they know the needs of their target group better in one or more particular areas and are thus able to satisfy the needs more appropriately.
